Festival Fashion | Wireless Preview

I'm ready to festival! I found this dress in the sale den of Urban Outfitters and it will be coming along to a few festivals this summer. It's comfy, breezy for daytime and enough of a cover up for the evenings. The length restricts my walking a bit, but it's fun to shake things up and waddle for a day isn't it?!

Those few days of glorious sunshine got me pretty excited for actual summer to begin. I've already made the mistake of wearing these New Look sandals with bare feet, it's definitely not warm enough for that! I'll be teaming these beauts with a cute pair of ankle socks for a little while longer.

& Music

As you can tell I'm quite excited for Summer and festival time to begin, Dot to Dot and No Tomorrow Festival are looking like definite fixtures but the big one for me this year is Wireless! The big names on the bill include Kanye, Pharrell, Bruno Mars and bloomin' Outkast!!! They rest of the line up doesn't disappoint, so I've picked out a few gems for your ears.

First up it's Jess Glynne  and what a year she's already had, being featured on two tracks (from Route 94 and Clean Bandit) that went straight to number 1 in the charts. She's no longer 'the girl on vocals' with her debut solo single punching a powerful beat combined with her incredible voice, get ready 2014 Jess Glynne is going to own you!

Kwabs has such a distinct and enticing voice, which is beautifully matched with the catchy chorus in 'Wrong or Right'. His newest track 'Pray For Love' continues to ooze soul, but for me 'Wrong Or Right' is his best yet. If you want something a bit dancier, check out Ben Peace's beaut remix.

This track isn't the latest offering from Chance The Rapper but it's by far my favourite, it' addictive. This guy is hanging out with all the right people as he features on Childish Gambino's 'Because Of The Internet' album, and can be heard alongside The Social Experiment on a very un-skrillexy, yet marvellous sounding track on Skrillex's new album.

Joel Compass' debut single 'Astonaut' brought along lots of comparisons to The Weeknd, and rightfully so. 'Forgive Me' keeps them vibez but is a bit more upbeat, which pleases me. It's not released until April 20th, but has been getting a fair bit of radio play, so fingers crossed this will be his big one before many more!
