No Tomorrow Festival

Clothes

Festival season is ON! This summer has started with a shiny new festival in Nottingham - No Tomorrow. The line up was stirling with Sam Smith, Clean Bandit and London Grammar all doing their bit. I'll get on to the music, but the second best bit of festivals is gawping at what people are wearing!

I went for a bright River Island dress that was comfy for the day but still looked a bit fancy for the after party. River Island has got a few same style shift dresses in different patterns for around £30-40.

These H&M boots were perfect for what was predicted to be a very wet day! Teamed up with some thick socks they were pretty comfy for running around.

& Music

There was so much marvellous music at No Tomorrow from Sam Smith and his soulful voice, Hannah from London Grammar's pure vocals, and Artful Dodger absolutely packing out a sweaty tent!

Festivals are the best place to find new music and Bruno Major (brother of Dot Major from London Grammar, what a horribly talented family!) was a beaut finding! This guy has a ridiculously good voice, like a cross between Michael Buble and Jamie Cullum. He's working with producer Ethan Johns, who's produced Paul McCartney, Kings Of Leon and Paolo Nutini, so big things will be beckoning him soon!

Interviews

London Grammar headlined No Tomorrow, and having formed at Nottingham Uni they were excited to come back. In the lead up to the festival we had a chat with Dan from London Grammar, who told us London Grammar basically formed because of his Facebook stalking!

I've wanted to see Clean Bandit live for so long and they didn't disappoint at No Tomorrow! It's so cool seeing strings merging with electronic production on stage, fronted by two lively vocalists. Grace from them band spared a few minutes to chat with us and told us about a pretty big collaboration she's trying to set up...

Local lady, Indiana, was there bouncing off the success of 'Solo Dancing' and drew in a huge crowd. In a quick chat before she went on stage, she said she's feeling a bit of pressure ahead of the release of her next single 'Heart On Fire' and debut album 'No Romeo' in August.
