Presenter & Amateur baker

I chat for a living and love it! Normally between 4-7pm on Capital East Midlands with Tom Watts. I've also presented on Capital Xtra, Capital East Midlands, Capital Manchester and Capital Yorkshire at the weekends and covered the Capital Breakfast Show in the East Midlands and in Birmingham.

After obsessively listening to the radio for 19 years I went to Nottingham Trent University in 2010 to study Journalism and did my first ever radio show (not counting the ones I recorded on my karaoke machine aged 10) on our student station FLY FM. As well as presenting, I led the news team for 2 years, hosted an 'In The Mix' style show where I DJ'd live and produced many shows on the station. In 2012 I received the bronze award for Best Female Presenter at the Student Radio Awards and later that year won The Hits Radio's Student Star Journalist Competition. In 2013 I returned to the Student Radio Awards to collect gold for Best Journalistic Programme.

I graduated with a first in Broadcast Journalism in 2013. I've worked with the Heart East Anglia, Capital East Midlands, BBC Norfolk, The Hits Radio and Key 103's news teams.

I started at Capital East Midlands in July 2013, presenting weekends with Tom. In October that year we moved to drive. Some of the highlights I've had since joining Capital have been Boris Johnson reading our travel news and interviewing some huge artists backstage at Leicester Music Festival 2014 and Fusion Festival 2015. I'm not afraid of a big crowd, hosting stuff from a fashion show to a variety of charity events and DJing for Capital.
